Terms of Use
The terms that govern your use of this website.
Last updated June 9, 2026.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of https://stepuplaw.com, operated by Klagge Law, PLLC (doing business as StepUp Law, "we," "us," or "the firm"). By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Attorney Advertising; Informational Use Only
This website is a communication about legal services and may be considered attorney advertising. Its content is provided for general information only and is not legal advice. Reading it, contacting us, booking a consultation, or using the chat does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship is formed only when we both sign a written engagement agreement. Do not act, or refrain from acting, based on anything here without seeking advice about your specific situation. See our disclaimers.
Calculators and Tools Are Estimates
Our calculators and interactive tools (for probate cost, Medicaid, intestacy, deed selection, and the like) produce general estimates based on the inputs you provide and current assumptions. They are not legal, tax, or financial advice, may not reflect your full situation or later changes in the law, and should not be relied on as a substitute for a consultation. Figures, fees, and statutory references are believed accurate as of the dates shown but may change.
Fees and Pricing
Any fees shown on the site are flat fees for the legal services described and are honored for the period required by the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar from the date posted. Government costs (recording, filing, publication, certified copies, and similar) are additional and passed through at cost. A specific quote is provided at or after your consultation, based on your matter.
No Warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate and current but make no warranty that it is error-free, complete, or uninterrupted, and we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the firm is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its tools. Your use of the site is at your own risk.
Acceptable Use
Please use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems, scrape or harvest data, submit false information, or use the contact and chat features to send unlawful, abusive, or harmful content.
Electronic Communications
When you contact us, book a consultation, or use the chat, you consent to receive electronic communications from us (such as email or text) related to your inquiry. Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages, and you can opt out of non-essential messages at any time. Email and chat are not secure channels; please do not send confidential information through them until we have agreed to represent you.
Intellectual Property
The content, design, and tools on this site are owned by Klagge Law, PLLC unless otherwise noted, and are protected by law. You may view and share links to our pages, but you may not copy, republish, or reuse the content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Third-Party Links

Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the information you provide.
Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to this website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
